Pradip Mishra

Java / Spring Boot Developer

Backend systems that hold up when the requests get messy.

I build secure, reliable backends with Java and Spring Boot — well-shaped REST APIs, careful data modelling, and code written to stay maintainable long after the first release.

01 / About

Backend engineering, taken seriously.

Pradip Mishra

I'm a backend-focused developer working mainly with Java and Spring Boot. What draws me to backend work is the part of software nobody sees: how a request is validated, how state is protected when two operations collide, and how a system behaves when something goes wrong.

Most of my learning happens by building. Designing a wallet transaction flow forced me to think about locking, idempotency and audit trails — not as textbook terms, but as decisions with consequences. I try to keep code readable, layers honest, and security handled at the right boundary rather than patched in later.

I'm early in my career and still learning fast. What I bring today is curiosity, an appetite for hard problems, and a habit of asking why a system is built the way it is before changing it.

04 / Projects

Backend systems I've designed and built.

Both projects are backend-only. No frontends were built for them, so what follows is the engineering, not screenshots.

Backend Engineering Project

Digital Wallet Backend

Secure transaction workflows, built for correctness under concurrency.

A backend system for wallet and money-transfer workflows: registration with OTP verification, deposits, transfers and scheduled transfers, protected by pessimistic locking, idempotent request handling, role-based access control, audit logging and WebSocket notifications.

  • Java
  • Spring Boot
  • Spring Security
  • Hibernate / JPA
  • PostgreSQL
  • Supabase
  • REST APIs
  • Redis

Backend Engineering Project

Assignment Management System

JWT-secured REST backend with a layered Spring Boot architecture.

The backend for an assignment management application, built with Spring Boot 3.5.4 on Java 21. Stateless JWT authentication through Spring Security, REST endpoints organised across controllers, DTOs, services and repositories, with data persisted in PostgreSQL via Spring Data JPA.

  • Java 21
  • Spring Boot 3.5.4
  • Spring Security
  • JWT
  • Spring Data JPA / Hibernate
  • PostgreSQL
  • REST APIs

Let's build something worth maintaining.

I'm open to Java / Spring Boot roles, interesting backend engineering work, and collaborations. The fastest way to reach me is the form or a direct email.
